The B-Side Jones Story
B-Side Jones is an 8pc. Funk/Rock performance band based in South Florida containing not only seasoned musicians who have toured and shared stages with international recording artists, the likes of Bryan Adams, Cheap Trick, Paul Young, Bryan Ferry, and Molly Hatchet, but can boast of having a Julliard graduate as well.
With a dynamic horn section presenting infectious grooves for current hits like” Uptown Funk” and classics like James Brown’s “Sex Machine,” and Sly and the Family Stone’s “Dance to the Music,” to Kid Rock’s “Cowboy,” and Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love,” there is musically something for everyone. The band’s playlist is tailored to get the audience up and dancing bringing the party atmosphere wherever they perform.
As the relative newcomer to the south Florida music scene, they’ve packed the house at the Funky Biscuit in Boca Raton, have return engagements at the Seminole Coconut Creek Casino as well as Revolutions @ City Place West Palm Beach, along with opening for Southern rockers Molly Hatchet at this year’s Rumaggedon in Lake Park FL., and being the featured artist for Sunday at the Waterfront for the City of WPB at the Myer Amphitheater, as well as performing at this year’s Palm Beach SuperCar Week.
Having lead singer/bassist Wayne Nelson of the Little River Band, Steve Augeri, former lead singer of Journey, and Phil MacCormack – lead singer of Molly Hatchet as notable fans of B-Side Jones doesn’t hurt either.
